NewsNew World Record - Well done Martin

Congratulations go to Solar Tackle boss Martin Locke who is no stranger to big carp, but even he could not believe the size of the fish in his landing net. It was of course the new world record caught in near artic conditions from Rainbow Lake at a staggering weight of 94lb!

Martins successful rig included 2 Solar Club Mix boilies fished kebab style with an 8mm Top Banana everlasting Pop Up between, new Solar snag hook on test and a Kryston 85lb Ton-Up hooklength and snag leader.

If anglers were rewarded for sheer dedication, commitment and effort with the fish of a lifetime Martin would certainly be one of them…One of anglings nice guys.
